Rain, Rain Go Away!

 

It started raining Halloween night and with the exception of a ten day cold snap in December and the odd dry day each week between downpours, it hasn't stopped.  Two and a half months of damp, windy weather and mostly grey skies. I remember when I thought the Maritimes was wet!

And to think that barely six months ago it was heatwave weather. 

Never set up house on an island that is at the mercy of the position of the jet stream. Eighty days to Spring is it?
