Spring Break
Thursday, the sun is out but that easterly wind is raw. I'm getting ready to hit the road with the OH and the mutt and drive to the Dorset coast for a much needed break. Since the weather forecast is being coy, we'll bring something to cover whatever happens. It will be good to be beside the sea again.
There are two long weekends coming up as well. One on Monday, May 1st and one on Monday, May 8th to mark the coronation which is on Saturday the 6th. I'm not much on kings, but I'll take a long weekend any time!
Have fun at the coast! We're not getting a long weekend in Canada to celebrate the coronation. While Charles III is of course the Canadian head of state, our legislation has just been amended to discontinue his title "Defender of the Faith" in this country, which is an appropriate change in a multicultural nation.
