The Church Grim

 I love folklore, its always interesting to read the stories we've made up over the centuries about all sorts of creatures, real and imagined.

Here is one from Scandinavia; the Church Grim (Kirkegrimen) is a creature that guards churches and graveyards. The Church Grim keeps order in the graveyard at night and chases away graverobbers.

I think its fitting that I'm posting this on Friday the 13th, another superstition.
